Evaluating listening skills

di E. Darling, British Council

Metodology

Teachers will have the opportunity to reflect on their own teaching. They will have opportunities to exchange opinions and discuss ideas with peers. The choice of classroom activities include mainly communicative tasks or involve task based learning. The use of ICT will be incorporated into these classroom tasks. There is a short self-assessment grid for teachers to evaluate themselves.

For action research teachers are encouraged to experiment with different types of activities in order to find methods and resources that are best suited to their current teaching situation and learners' needs. They will need to be able to reflect and justify why something does/does not work for them and be able to provide solutions to problematic areas.

The unit follows the following outline:

Step 2.0
