How to write a letter of application
A letter of application accompanies your C.V. and its main purpose is to help you introduce yourself
The introduction Here you should refer to the position you are applying for and if you wish, you can mention how you came across it: newspaper, agency etc.
The body Here you present yourself to the employer.You can make reference to several points:
- what your present position is
- why you have decided to move on
- why you think you are the right person for that position
- what are your skills and strenghts
The conclusion Here you sum up briefly the selling points mentioned in the body of the letter, point out any items you are including in the letter (CV, resume..) and express willingness to provide any further information that may be needed.
