You have got an interview for your ideal position, and now? The competition for a job opportunity can be hard. If you are aware of that you are also conscious that you need to be prepared to face an interview. Here are some "DOs" and "DON'Ts" for the job interview: 1. Arrive on time or a few minutes early. A late arrival for a job interview is the worst start and nobody will excuse it. 2. Write your application neatly and exhaustively. Do not rely on your application or resume to do the selling for you. Employers want you to present yourself. 3. Call the interviewer by last name only if you are sure you can pronounce it correctly. Smile and give the impression of energy as you talk. 4. Wait to be invited to a chair. Sit upright, look alert and interested all time. Listen carefully and show you are a good communicator. 5. While speaking raise your eyes and look straightforward. 6. Follow the interviewer's scheme, but try to lead him to describe the position offered and the duties required so that you can illustrate your background, skills and relevance to the position. 7. Be sure the interviewer get the good points and your achievements. 8. Show you are there to get the job. Never close the door on opportunity. 9. Be enthusiastic. This could enhance the chances of further consideration. Show interest even if you are not enthusiastic because it will demonstrate your professionalism. 10. Don't forget a copy of your C.V.. better keep more than one copy in your briefcase
